(Allium sativum)

These are assorted bulbils harvested from our garlic collection which after an initial label crisis involving our American Buff Geese has become a mixed population. Bulbils are stem-based miniature clones of the parent garlic plant that offer an advantage of reduced risk of carrying soil-borne pathogens as they are never in contact with the soil. Yes, planting bulbils requires several seasons (typically 3 years) before full-size garlic heads are harvested, but a frugal grower that appreciates the cost differential between bulbils and seed cloves is rewarded by patience.

Directions for growing from bulbils to assist you on this adventure are included with the bulbils.

Please use the drop-down menu to select between packets options, minimum:

Note: We do not have the certification necessary for selling seed garlic itself and the heads of garlic shown are typical of our garlic collection and not the bulbils themselves.
