This variety of heritage winter wheat was bred by Eli Rogosa. She crossed two Eastern European landrace wheat varieties. The first was Bankuti known for it’s rich flavor. The second, which we also carry, was Ukrainka, a Hungarian variety that is productive and adaptable, with excellent baking quality.
Packet options, minimum:

My passion for heirloom grains was sparked by how well this winter wheat thrived in our garden.
