"Beans are a poor man's jewels." - Robert Lobitz, Minnesota Seedsman; 1941-2006
As tribute to his home state, Robert frequently named his varieties for local communities. This bean, a beauty indeed, is named for Rose Creek Minnesota. A very productive variety, round, green pods make delicious snap beans. Allow the beans to develop for fresh, tasty shellies but be sure to allow some pods to mature for the gorgeous dry beans that are well-suited for soups and chili.
