Potawatomi Pole Lima Bean
These went fast! Will grow again this coming season. Please check back in the fall.
(Phaseolus lunatus); Heirloom; a Michigan Connection variety; Pole bean; Dual use: shelly or dry; Minimum 25 seeds
Seeds for this variety originate with the Jijak Foundation of the Gun Lake Band of Potawatomi in Hopkins Michigan. Vines are robust and produced well given our erratic weather. With their tri-color dry beans and their cultural significane, Potawatomi Pole Limas deserve a place in your garden. I look forward to adding these to my hearty winter dishes.
