(Triticum turgidum.durum); Heritage; Landrace; Awned; Facultative - fall-planted; Minimum 25 seeds
1782 Durum is a landrace collected in Afghanistan in 1965 (a good year if I do say so myself =P) by J.D. Gray of Surry's Reading University. Productive tillers with semi-dense spikes produce a satisfying yield of plump, hard white kernels.
This is a fall-planted line of the facultative landrace.
