(Phaseolus lunatus); Heirloom; Pole bean; Minimum 20 seeds
Provenance holds a lady in Georgia discovered a paper sack of limas on the back porch of a grist mill which is how these lovelies gained their name. The plants are quite vigorous climbers that require strong support. I grew them as dry beans and was harvesting dry pods from late August through September. Yet another gem of a variety I had the pleasure of swapping for with iconic seedsman John Coykendall at the 2018 Spring Ohio Valley Seed Swap.
