(Phaseolus vulgaris); Pole bean; Dry; Minimum 20 seeds
Named for the Georgian village of Hashuli, these pole beans originate in a Tbilisi market. The large plump dry beans are delicious pantry staples. Vigorous vines easily top an 8 foot trellis. I must admit the chubby uniqueness of these beans was a factor in my growing them - oops did my bean addiction just reveal itself? Good thing they make a delicious baked bean!
