(Phaseolus vulgaris); aka Bird Egg #3; a Michigan Connection variety; Pole; Multi-use - snap, shelly, and dry; Minimum 20 seeds
A variety from the garden of Michigan Seedsman Ralph Stevenson who received it from John Withee, curator of the famous Withee & Wanigan bean collection, this Bird Egg Bean entered the seed saving community in the early 1980s. An abundance of 9 inch long, flat pods holding large beans, grow on vigorously climbing vines that produce until first frost. Very impressive performance in 2021!
