Worcester Indian Pumpkin
This pumpkin was very popular. Please check back in the fall.
(Cucurbita pepo) Indigenous heirloom; Hand-pollinated; Minimum 15 seeds
Identified by Frederick Wiseman's Seeds of Renewal Project as an Abenaki ancestral variety, this 17th century heirloom is considered the ancestor of the Connecticut Field Pumpkin. Rambling vines produced several medium sized pumpkins per vine. A fantastic "classic" pumpkin.
