(Triticum monococcum); aka Farro piccolo; Hulled; Winter
An ancient European grain, Einkorn means "one kernel" in German and references the fact that there is just one grain per hull. A culinary staple in Italy, the grain is one of the farros, specifically farro piccolo, due to its small size.
These seeds are still within their hulls.
This year, I am offering two lines of Einkorn to be planted in the fall:
1) Fall Planted - White hulls
in three packet sizes: a) 50 hand selected seeds, b) 10 grams, c) 113 grams
2) Fall Planted - Dark Hulls
in three packet sizes: a) 50 hand selected seeds, b) 10 grams, c) 113 grams
For reference, 100 seeds with hulls weighs around 3 grams.
