(Hordeum vulgare); 6-rowed; Sessile Hooded; Hull-less; Fall-planted; Minimum 50 seeds
We obtained our seed from a Wisconsin seed saver who has been growing it for over a decade. Originally the line was collected in Shandong China in 1991. It demonstrates excellent winter hardiness in our southeast Michigan gardens. Hull-less kernels thresh free from their unique hooded spikes.
Zou Xian Xong Mang Da Mai is consistently one of our earliest cultivars harvested.
Limit 1 pack per person. I will ship only 1 pack and refund any additional packs if more than one is ordered.
