Himalayan barley is also known as Highland or Tibetan barley.  A common grain grown on the Tibetan Plateau it is used to make tsampa and alcohol. Technically, Himalayan's kernels are hulled, but with a bit of manual rubbing, most thresh freely of their hulls.
