As we've done in past season, the progression of grain harvest is documented in this blog. This creates a handy seasonal reference allowing easier year to year comparisons.  Each past seasons' progression of harvest is used to plan how the plots organized.   It's easier to organize the bird netting if the harvest progresses from one side to the other, instead of a beautifully photogenic patch work quilt.
