Sumire Mochi barley seeds

(Hordeum vulgare var. nudum); Barley; Hulless; a variety from the Kusa Seed Society Collection

Considered a glutinous barley, Sumire Mochi is a Japanese 6-row barley that was spring planted. The heads were easy to thresh by hand but some additional, minimal hand work was needed to pick clean. Plants tiller vigourously.

Three packets options, minimum:

a) 50 choice hand selected seeds taken from robust heads

b) 7 grams  (1/4 ounce) of seed taken from select heads

b) 50 choice hand selected seeds taken from heads that are the most PURPLE in color
