Terminillo is a winter wheat cultivar from the influential Italian geneticist Nazareno Strampelli (1866-1942) whose early 20th century work with wheat, early in the Green Revolution, allowed Italy to become nearly self-sufficient in bread wheat production by the 1930s. Plants tiller productively and are winter hardy.
