(x Triticosecale spp.); Awned; Fall-planted
Lasko is a triticale cultivar developed in Poland by Tadeusz Wolski of Danko Plant Breeders that was donated to the USDA in 1991. Bred for stem rust resistance, plants are robust, demonstrating exceptional winter hardiness and tolerance of weed pressure. Lasko is an impressive addition to our winter grains and threshes easily.
