Fall Planted Heritage Grains
These are our fall-planted grains (barley, rye, and wheat) with a documented history of at least 50 years - some are even a centennial cultivar! Notably, many of them originate in our Great Lakes bio-region. Including them in your fall plantings is a great way to connect with, renew and preserve our collective regional agricultural history.
Our best selection of fall-planted is available late August / early September after harvest and processing.
