We grew this foxtail millet in dry sandy soil and let it experience the whims of the weather. The plants ranged from 18 to 24 inches and made much smaller grain heads than our Limelight Millet grown with attention as illustrated in this photo.
Our plan is to continue to select for 'survival' because everybody has a patch soil that gets neglected.
