Rothenburger Rotkorn plants average 3 foot, tillering productively. Hailing from its namesake canton in Luzern, we sourced our seeds from Sylvia Davatz, retired founder/owner of Solstice Seeds. Rothenburger Rotkorn is known for its favorable baking quality, though as is typical of spelt, its flour is less glutinous compared to other wheats, due to its higher protein content. Good winter survivability. Tolerates weed pressure.
