After several seasons unsuccessfully trialing specific kenaf cultivars, I finally decided to trial a mix of short season cultivars and am excited to finally have viable seed to offer (actual happy dance excited!)
First grown in Egypt over three centuries ago, kenaf is a versatile crop, offering homesteaders a valuable source of textile fiber, forage, oilseed, and vegetable.
