Aptly named, as the fruits do resemble large rounds of cheese! Hard-shelled, Long Island Cheese Pumpkins are excellent winter keepers which means you can enjoy their sweetness well into the depths of winter. Vines sprawl and despite their large fruits, the plants do well on a strong trellis which is how I grow them.
