Co-developed at the University of Minnesota with the USDA and added to the USDA's small grains collection in 1932, Marmin is a heritage hard red winter cultivar. Plants demonstrate good winter hardiness to yield awned fusiform spikes that thresh easily by hand of their plump hard red kernels.
