Michigan Amber Wheat
(Triticum aestivum); Winter Wheat; a Michigan Connection variety;
Known for its gorgeous amber grains, Michigan Amber is first described as grown on Chester County's Pennsylvania Agricultural College farms in 1875. Like Red May, its history is rich with synonyms. We are pleased to offer this heritage variety that was once more widely grown in our state. Michigan Amber is a soft red winter wheat.
