From the Brusciana region of Campania comes this vibrant yellow, slightly squashed and ribbed little pepper bursting with sweetness, a namesake of those surnamed Papaccio. Often pickled, papacella is featured in the Neopolitan dish insalata di rinforzo traditionally served during the Christmas season. Robust plants reach 2ish feet and are productive.
