(Solanum lycopersicum); Indeterminate; Cherry; Regular leaf; Minimum 30 seeds
Pomodorini di Sardegna is a Sardinian cherry tomato we trialed for fresh eating and sundrying and WOW! I am not particularly a fan of tomatoes but I couldn't stop myself from snacking on these sweeties in the garden. A profusion of long clusters on vigorous vines yield an abundance of half-ounce plum fruits. Meaty and wonderfully sweet, it wasn't a surprise Pomodorini di Sardegna was a favorite at a local tasting event. The plants produce prolifically until frost and we extend their season by dehydrating them for later enjoyment.
Single plants are well-suited to container gardening if grown in a large (~5 gallon) well-drained pot and provided support.
