Mnogoletnee Sadykova Triticale

Donated to the USDA by the N.I. Vavilov Institue of Plant Industry, Mnogoletnee Sadykova triticale was developed in Azerbaijan. Oblong spikes are medium-dense and easy to thresh. Genetically it is a hexaploid 2n=42 cultivar. Hexaploid triticales are recognized for winter hardiness, an ability to grow on light soils, early flowering and early maturity, and high protein and lysine contents.

Mnogoletnee Sadykova is a facultative cultivar - this is the fall-planted line.
