Vorgebirgstrauben Pickling Cucumber

This old German pickling cucumber variety is aptly named for when its vines are in fruit they are akin to grapes hanging on their vines in the foothills. Dark green, dimpled, and bumpy, Vorgebirgstrauben's small fruits (~3.5 inches / 9 cm) excel as pickles, though they are refreshing and tasty sliced.
