Muri Rotkorn was developed in 1932 in Bern Switzerland. Tall plants (~5 ft) average 50 purple strawed tillers that hold aloft glorious 7-8 inch grain spikes. Our original seed stock comes from the gardens of Sylvia Davatz, retired founder and owner of Solstice Seeds. Excellent winter hardiness.
